"Modeling a life that points to Christ through our imperfection."

years we've been together

Most days you can find us chasing after our little heartbeats, Luella and Chase (loooooook at themmm!)
Don't let their looks fool you,  they are quite the dynamic duo. They are also the heart behind The Pause Pursuit. A ministry empowering couples and families to slow down to pursue God and eachother. In a media saturated world, the comparison game is real, but so is real life. The Pause Pursuit is a safe place that combines the two. Where real life meets the sustaining power and pursuit of a real Jesus.

Hello! We are so glad you're on this Pause Pursuit journey with us. We're Matt and Dayna. Life Enthusiasts in the pursuit of a life enriched in God's sustaining grace, empowering others to pursue the same.  Two very imperfect people who wake up with bad breath, have days (sometimes weeks) of losing our patience, modeling to the world, each other, and our children, a life that points to Christ through our imperfection. We're passionate about two things, (and a few hundred more) but the top being walking in the things that give God glory, and double stuffed Oreos. Because, #Oreos.

01.

You inspire us!

Real life couples and families in the same crazy-beautiful season in love with Jesus and pursuing a life of purpose over perfection.

02.

New Beginnings

A promise in God's word to us is that He restores, makes all things new. That He who BEGAN a good work in us, will bring it to completion. That's our heart of inspiration for The Pause Pursuit.

03.

Nature.

The parallels of nature and spirit in the Bible are undeniable. From the family tree, to the tree planted by the Living Water, God must remain our source!

04.

Community + Connection

Growing together through our journey, and connecting with others through our strengths, weaknesses, trials and triumphs while bringing Glory to God!

05.

Worship

because it creates a intimate connection with God that can't be attained in any other way. Worship invites a pause to the busyness of the world where we are refreshed and fully seen by our Creator.
